Bliss

If you were to look Bliss up in my dictionary in would say right under it : a 3 day weekend.

I started these couple of blissful days off right after school on Friday. I have the two best jobs in the world. But my favorite of the two is working with a Sweetie named Curtis. He has the mental disorder of Echolalia and is Autistic and he is the cutest kid. He has the mentality of about a 20 month old and loves dancing and listening to music (especially disney songs (( our song is "You've got a friend in me" from toystory)) ), playing with puzzles, eating spaghettios, and he is very very tricky. I got to work with him for a couple of hours directly after school.

Then I had a date with Dane Douglas where we first went to the Lone Peak vs. American Fork basketball game. We are rivals and it was an awesome game. The first 3 quarters we were switching back and forth who was in control then LP rocked it 4th quarter and kicked butt. It was a pretty dang intense game. Then we had pizza and went to the dollar theater movie of Harry Potter 7. Danced a bit like the awkward Harry/ Hermione scene and All in all it was a pretty fun night.

Saturday I had work at 8, this time I worked as the receptionist at Great Clips. This job is much more low maintence and laid back. I was able to finish a bunch of homework and got paid for it. Great right. I also took a nap for the first time in probably a month. It was wonderful. Then I had a shrinky dink date with Adam and watched this "scary" movie. I think Adam peed his pants. (he's a big baby).

Sunday was one of those family days you wish can last forever. After church we all jumped into pajamas and sat for hours and hours and watched our old family videos. It was so fun to hear all the stories from my parents point of view and remembering the good ole times.

As I have early morning seminary I am up by 5:30 every morning. And Saturdays I work morning so I never get to sleep in. Except when we don't have school! I slept in until 10 and that would also be found under the word bliss! Then me, momma and megan got "lost" in Salt Lake. While we were on our adventure (lost) we went to countless Second hand stores. I got some great shirts and a cool little windmill thing and these little sewed birds that are currently hanging in my car. A couple of house later we went home and with the family watched a great Betty White flick. (Cannot quite remember the name).

p.s. I got glasses this week too. :)

It's weird how now trees have individual twigs and leaves, when teachers write on the board it is usually information that helps in class, stop signs are not just a red blur but an octagon shape with a word on it, and clouds are not just white blobs. It's been fun to actually being able to see! Plus I look really smart and like a jenius in them. :)
